Welcome!Martin Leung won first prizes in the Los Angeles International Liszt Piano Competition - Concerto Division (2016), University of Southern California (USC) Concerto Competition (2012), and Cleveland Institute of Music Concerto Competition (2007). He won shared first place in the Art of the Piano Liszt Competition (2011), and third place in the Oberlin International Piano Competition (2002).Known as Video Game Pianist, he performed solo concerts at Penny Arcade Expo, at Comic Conventions in Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, and San Francisco, GDC, E3, German Games Convention, Brasil Game Show, and the Alamo Drafhouse Cinema, among others. From 2005-2012 he played in 17 countries with Video Games Live. In 2019 he was an Artist-In-Residence at the University of Michigan. He is the pianist in a 2004 viral video where he plays Super Mario music on the piano.Dr. Leung received his piano performance degrees from USC (DMA), Yale School of Music, and Cleveland Institute of Music.
