Emma Leiuman (June 14 1984) studied at the Central Music School (under Kira Shashkina - Mikhail Pletnev's teacher), Moscow State Chopin college (under Lev Naumov - Heinrich Neuhaus' student), Moscow State conservatory (Master's degree under prof. Pavel Nersessian - Moscow Conservatory & Boston University), a prize winner of international competitions, she is a creator of the PianoWell system - innovative system for advanced & pro pianists that improves piano technique. At the age of 14, Emma started creating the system, guided by her intuition and the knowledge from master pianists of the 20th century. The system was mostly completed after 14 years, and turned out to be the first system that connected a physical approach with musical ideas, demonstrating how imagination and a singing approach that are aligned with efficient hands movements help improve piano technique, expressiveness and clarity of playing, preventing pianists from playing-related injuries.
