I find people's sorrows and losses to be heartbreaking and terrible and an immense burden... However you must understand that that is the nature of this place, this is not utopia, it is not paradise. It is a place of death and endings and suffering, brief amusements. It is not enough...Your turn is coming. One day will be your death. All will pass, everything will pass, everything will be lost, everything will change, every conceivable separation will occur. You must know the place you are in and live in accordance with that knowledge... The life without seeking abides in that which is always already the case; a life of seeking pursues... that which is always already the case. In other words the egoic life is an absurdity; the worldly life is an absurdity; it is seeking for what is always already the case and it is utterly bound to what inevitably passes and is inherently unsatisfactory. The more you understand the nature of human experience, the more you observe of it, the more convinced you should become of this understanding and its rightness (Adi Da) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptpHIGKr2cQ
