Born, and raised in the suburbs of Philly, moved to California's Central Valley where I now reside, and work for a large Telephone Company, I have been an outside Comm Tech for the past 21 years. I have always liked to tinker, making things, fixing things, breaking things! In my teens to my late 20's I was into NHRA drag racing, then into boating, and off shore race boats. After realizing racing was getting way too expensive, I got back into dirt bike riding, and still riding today. All during these times I had an interest in machining, more as a necessity, to fix broken parts, than as an interest. I now enjoy machining as a hobby, and quickly realized how much I don't know about it, but learning with a lot of help from YouTube. I am limited to a small shop at home. My goal is to retire in the next few years, and have machining as a hobby, to keep me, and my mind busy, maybe even make a buck, or two at it in the future, we shall see...
