This is the official Youtube page for "Lee Martin's The Midnight Hour." The series aired one original half-hour episode per month on syndicated cable TV stations from September 6, 2008 to August 1, 2015. After that, reruns were aired regularly until September of 2017. The series changed formats twice during its seven-year run. Originally, it was conceived as a "comic book horror" anthology, with a heavy emphasis on irony and dark humor. When the show's resident FX makeup artist expressed a desire to create more gruesome applicationsbacked by viewer requestsseasons 3 and 4 shifted the focus to monsters and graphic gore. Its greatest notoriety was achieved in seasons 5-7, when at a distributor's request it became a titillating "Giallo" anthology in the tradition of Argento, Bava and Ponti. The series ended abruptly when its editors stole two years worth of pro res HD broadcast masters (including footage for 3 episodes which had been filmed but never edited or screened).
