Mana Maoli is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the students of Hawaiian Charter Schools. These schools are run by the community and have demonstrated amazing success with their youth, in academics, attendance, leadership, cultural grounding, and self-esteem. Many attribute this to the hands-on, real world style of learning, small class sizes, and foundation of Hawaiian values, culture & language. Mana Maoli founded Halau Ku Mana Public Charter School and programs that support this and other schools: Kanehunamoku Voyaging Academy & the Mana Mele Project. The Mana Mele Project includes a Music & Multimedia Academy, Hawaii's 1st Solar-powered mobile studio & mentorships designed to connect industry professionals with youth. This project has long been supported by the Mana Maoli Collective (MMC), comprised of 200+ artists who donate their time & talent to our albums, concerts, school visits & mentorships.Visit www.manamele.org (The Project) & manamaoli.org (The Nonprofit)
