Daryl Braithwaite (born 11 January 1949) is an Australian music legend. He was the lead vocalist of Sherbet (19701984), one of Australias first supergroups and returned for various reunions over the years. Braithwaite also has a solo career, placing 15 singles in the Australian Top 40, including two number-one hits, Youre My World (October 1974) and The Horses (January 1991). His return to the scene in 1988 heralded the album The Edge featuring the hits Day Go By, All I Do and One Summer. His second studio album, Rise (1991) peaked at No. 1 on the ARIA albums chart and featured the now legendary song The Horses.Daryl was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2017 and at the same time released Days Go By the definitive Daryl Braithwaite collection. Daryl continues to record and tour and is as popular today as ever with fans of all ages.
